Update to Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List: 3 New Occupations Added

July 27, 2021

The Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services, and Multicultural Affairs Alex Hawke MP, announced the inclusion of 3 additional occupations of Hospital Pharmacist (251511), Industrial Pharmacist (251512), and Retail Pharmacist (251513) on the Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL).

This brings the total number of occupations on the PMSOL to 44.

The list is based on expert advice from the National Skills Commission and consultation with Commonwealth departments to support Australia’s economic recovery from COVID-19. The list is temporary and priority occupations may change as Australia recovers from the pandemic.
